Yes! In most provinces — including Ontario (OHIP), British Columbia (MSP), Alberta (AHCIP), Quebec (RAMQ), and others — virtual medical visits are covered just like in-person visits. You'll need a valid provincial health card. Some specialty services may have out-of-pocket costs.
Absolutely. Every physician, nurse practitioner, and specialist on NorHealth is fully licensed with their respective provincial college (CPSO, CPSBC, CPSA, etc.) and in good standing. We verify credentials and run background checks on every provider.
NorHealth is not designed for emergencies. If you or someone else is experiencing a medical emergency, please call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. Our doctors can help assess whether a situation requires emergency care and guide you accordingly.
After your consultation, your doctor can electronically send a prescription to any pharmacy in Canada. Simply tell your doctor which pharmacy you prefer, and the prescription will be waiting for you. Home delivery is also available through partner pharmacies.

Yes. If medically appropriate, your NorHealth physician can provide a medical note for employers or educational institutions. This will be issued on official letterhead with your doctor's credentials and delivered securely to your email.
